Fans booed the Arsenal manager as he boarded a train, hours after the Gunners lost 3-2 to Stoke City
In the aftermath of Arsenal struggling 3-2 loss to Stoke on Saturday, Arsene Wenger was booed and abused as he tried boarding a plane.
A video spread in England of the 65 year-old being abused by some travelling Arsenal fans and England legend, Gary Lineker described the act as a disgustingly inexcusable one.
"Just saw the Wenger abuse video," Lineker tweeted, adding that it is "Disgustingly disrespectful and totally inexcusable, regardless of any football results."
Arsenal run of victories in the EPL against West Bromwich Albion and Southampton, after the home loss to United was short-lived on Saturday with that loss at the Britannia Stadium.
The Gunners occupy the 6 position on the EPL with 13 points behind leaders, Chelsea.
